Supreme Court to Determine Election Date

As soon as it was inaugurated, the Supreme Court immediately got down to business, with the first item being the matter of the correct date for the next general election. The Constitution Implementation Commission which insists the elections must be held in august next year is seeking an advisory of the supreme court after cabinet approved a bill to ammend the date to December. The petition is among several others filed over the controversial issue. Jane Kiyo reports.
