The Red Cross says 50 deaths confirmed since March. Four people swept to their deaths in Rongai area.
Four people died last night when their vehicle was swept away by flood waters in Rongai, Kajiado county, bringing the total number of people who have died as a result of floods to fifty over the last two months, according to the Kenya Red Cross. The vehicle was pushed over a distance of one kilometer from the Rimpa bridge in Rongai, this morning. Elsewhere, several families at Membley estate near Clayworks on the nairobi Thika superhighway, have been marooned by flood waters as the torrential rains continue. And as Franklin Macharia reports, other parts of the country including Samburu County are also reeling from the effects of floods
