The government has termed an advisory issued by the U.S embassy to its citizens warning them against travelling to the coastal city of Mombasa as malicious and an act of economic sabotage. Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka and acting Head of Public Service Francis Kimemia expressed the sentiments following the advisory that has seen the United States withdraw its officials from Mombasa warning of a possible terror attack by 1st of July. But is it an act of sabotage, especially with the tourism peak season picking up? Or is it another warning the government chooses to dismiss casually?
