Kenyan Minister Suspended Over Hate Speech

Water Assistant Minister and Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu has been suspended from conducting his Ministerial duties pending the outcome of his incitement to violence and hate speech cases. Waititu, who was arraigned in court this morning now faces two incitement to violence cases after High Court Judge Justice Isaac Lenaola lifted a stay on a case he has to answer for alleged utterances of incitement in 2010. And the Assistant Minister will be spending the night in police custody pending the determination of his bail application. Willis Raburu with that story.
