Emotions ran high at the Wilson Airport and chiromo Mortuary, as the bodies of 24 policemen and Kenya police reservists who were killed in Baragoi's bandit attack on Sunday were brought to Nairobi.

For the family members gathered both at the airport and the morgue, it was time to confront the reality of losing a loved one in the line of duty, as Sylvia Chebet reports.
