Ramaphosa Apologises for How Marikana Shootings Unfolded

Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa has apologised for the way in which the Marikana shootings unfolded five years ago. But he denied any involvement in the killing of the 34 Lonmin miner workers. The deputy president was addressing students and academics at Rhodes University. He said he was sorry for the type of language he used at the time when he referred to "plainly dastardly criminal acts" during the strike.
