Urgent Action Needed as Fight Against Malaria Stalls - WHO

The world was doing well in controlling malaria, but in 2016 there were about four million more cases than there were 2015 - and the 2017 World Malaria Report says there were 445,000 deaths. "We are now at a turning point... we risk going backwards," says Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization.
