Coming out fighting - Fiery Cape Town Mayor Patricia De Lille was suspended from her party which is the official opposition Democratic Alliance thus ending her mayorship of the Western Cape. She approached the courts to overturn this decision which was set aside and she was told to return to work. The Democratic Alliance did not allow her to perform her mayoral duties though, calling her role "ceremonial".
