'No Choice' as Struggling Energy Giant Eskom Accepts China Loan
A U.S.$33 million loan is being granted to cash-strapped energy giant Eskom to develop the Kuseli coal-fired power station, one of the main sources of electricity in the country. This decision has environmental organization Greenpeace up in arms as it says "the world is moving away from coal and embracing renewable energy".
