South Africa Sees Shock Rise In Unemployment Rate
The official unemployment rate increased by 0.5% to 27.2% in the second quarter of 2018, up from 26.7% in the first three months of the year, bleeding 105,000 jobs in the manufacturing sector. The Statistician-General Risenga Maluleke has said that black women are the most vulnerable when it comes to unemployment.
