Kenya's Elite Not Spared as Demolitions Come Knocking

The series of demolitions have been targeted at Nairobi's posher addresses, indiscriminately bringing down restaurants, houses, swimming pools, along with perimeter walls and even entire malls, as happened at South End Mall on Lang'ata Road. The National Environment Management Authority says there will be no looking back in the ongoing process of taking down structures built on riparian lands and choking rivers.
