Ill Health Forces Daniel arap Moi to Watch Son's Burial From Afar

Kenya's former president Daniel arap Moi did not attend the funeral service for his son Jonathan Moi which was held at Kabarak University, reportedly followed the proceedings on television. In a eulogy delivered on his behalf by his son Gideon Moi, the former leader described Jonathan as a "humble man."
