#RevolutionNow Leader's Detention in Nigeria Sets Off Rumpus

A storm of protest - and support - has erupted over a decision by the Federal High Court in Abuja to authorise the detention of the convener of #RevolutionNow protests, Omoyele Sowore, for 45 days.

Omoyele Sowore, an activist and publisher of Sahara Reporters, was the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, in the last general election.
