Nigerian Shiite Leader Returns After Refusing Treatment in India

The leader of a banned Islamic Movement in Nigeria has left India without getting the medical treatment he sought. A statement from his group suggests that he decided to leave because he did not feel in control of situation and an "imposition of medical treatment by the Nigerian security forces in collaboration with their Indian colleagues". El-Zakzaky described the treatment as worse than what he and his wife experienced in Nigeria.
