Kenya's DP Ruto Pokes Holes in Odinga's Peace Building Task Force

Deputy President William Ruto has challenged leaders to focus on service delivery as opposed to self-centred politics designed to erode gains made under the new constitutional order. He was criticising Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga for calling for a referendum through his Building Bridges Initiative task force, saying he is looking for "political power". BBI was constituted after President Uhuru Kenyatta and Odinga, his chief political opponent, shook hands on March 9, 2018 to implement their shared objectives on building national unity.
