Concerns Over Nigerian Govt's U.S.$22.7 Billion Loan Request

The government has said that the U.S.$22.7 billion requested by President Muhammadu Buhari in the external borrowing plan would be invested in infrastructure development. Some ministers appeared before a committee to defend the loan, saying that it would also assist with job creation.
