Tanzania Government Faces Second Mining Dispute
Days after a Canadian firm, Winshear Gold Corporation, announced that it has sent a notice to the attorney general with the intention of establishing an investment dispute following the government's decision on mining laws, a mining company linked to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland has delivered a similar notice. Solicitor General Clement Mashamba has said the government will react according to the law but could not go into details on the matter because arbitration issues are always confidential.
