COVID-19 Forces Nigeria to Revise Budget, Cut Fuel Price

The government has announced some significant changes to its 2020 Budget as its puts in place measures to contain the effect of the novel coronavirus on the nation's economy. The government will cut the petrol price to allow Nigerians benefit from the slide in international crude markets. The federal executive council has approved the review of the 2020 budget and the medium term expenditure framework for 2020-2022, recommended by the finance ministry.
