South African Minister Censured for Breaking Lockdown Rules

President Cyril Ramaphosa has had a meeting with Communications Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams who was photographed at a lunch hosted by disgraced former deputy higher education minister Mduduzi Manana, during the government's national lockdown to stem the spread of COVID-19. Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu will replace the minister for two months. Over 1,800 cases and nearly 20 deaths have been confirmed in South Africa as the pandemic tightens its grip on the world.
