Contact Tracing Apps from South Africa, Uganda to Curb COVID-19
Covi-ID, an app designed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, has been developed in South Africa by Co-Pierre Georg, an associate professor at the University of Cape Town School of Economics. This comes as Defining Technologies, a Ugandan firm, developed a contact tracing app that was donated to the Ministry of Health National Taskforce to help limit the spread of the virus.
