Rwanda Enhances Its Care for HIV Patients

Drug refills which were conducted on a monthly basis have been upgraded to two months and three months for some. Community outreach programmes for people living with HIV has also been enhanced through regular communication between healthcare providers and their patients, according to Placidie Mugwaneza, the HIV/AIDS Division Manager at the Rwanda Biomedical Centre.
