Rwandan Researchers Solve Math Around TB Treatment

A group of researchers at Rwanda Biomedical Centre have reportedly discovered that a standard algorithm that was used to diagnose TB provides faulty results. Many patients were thus found to have resistance against Rifampicin - the most effective drug against Tuberculosis - while they actually didn't.
