More People Show Up Seeking to Take Reins of Power From Museveni
More than 40 individuals have so far communicated their intensions to vie for Uganda's presidency, according to Jotham Taremwa, spokesperson for the electoral commission. The latest entrant is former army commander Maj-Gen Mugisha Muntu who recently founded a new party after leaving the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).
