President Buhari Wants Slow Wheels of Justice Sped Up in Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari has called for urgent and sweeping reforms in the country's judicial system. Buhari recalled the length of time the court took in resolving his petitions against the presidential elections in 2003, 2007 and 2011, noting the "terribly slow pace" at which rulings were made. He has proposed that criminal cases from the high court to the supreme court, be concluded within 12 months.
