As the country grapples with the challenges of deforestation and access to water and adequate sanitation, climate change and increasing temperatures are adding to the daily burden Malawians face.

Young girls who are the mostly responsible for collecting water from rivers and wells are having to travel further away from home, taking precious time from their schooling and causing them to fall behind.
