In Case You Missed Episode One of The Real Housewives of Lagos

The Real Housewives of Lagos started streaming on Showmax on April 8, 2022 - a night after its grand and glamorous launch in Sandton, South Africa. Hosted by South Africa's television personality Bonang Matheba, the event saw South Africa's biggest stars grace the pink carpet.

The new reality TV show follows the lavish lives of six glamorous and rich Nigerian women. In the show are businesswoman, Carolyna Hutchings, lawyer and luxury hair brand owner Chioma Ikokwu, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, influencer Laura Ikeji-Kanu, PR expert Mariam Timmer, and celebrity stylist Toyin Lawani-Adebayo.

Here is what happened on the first episode!

Toyin Lawani-Adebayo invited the ladies to her daughter's product launch that took place at Chioma Ikokwu's resturant where they sat down for a meal and drinks, after a prayer session sealed with tequila. Iyabo Ojo opened up about being sexually assaulted when she was young and how the incident has affected her life. She then invited everyone to a beach party which views can look forward to on episode two. New episodes are released every Friday morning.
