Mamelodi Sundowns women's team reclaimed the CAF Women's Champions League following a convincing 3-0 victory over Sporting Casablanca at Stade Amadou Gon Coulibaly in Cote d'Ivoire on Sunday, November 19, 2023, writes Michael Madyira for Scrolla.

A brace by Refilwe Tholakele and a goal from Boitumelo Rabale powered Sundowns (affectionately known as the Brazilians) to victory.

Sunday's result completed a successful period for Sundowns whose men had clinched the African Football League title seven days earlier, following a 2-0 victory over Wydad Casablanca in the second leg of the final at Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria, South Africa.
