President Boakai Focuses on Conduct of Liberia's Govt Officials

The new leader is expected to tackle corruption, improve the living conditions of Liberians by reducing poverty, and improve infrastructural development - and he's begun by vowing to enforce the Code of Conduct for public officials as he nominates the members of his government.

There's already been action around one of his nominees - Sara Beysolow Nyanti - whose highly anticipated confirmation hearing did not go as planned because a "security breach" derailed her confirmation as foreign minister.
