Liberia Joins Roll-Out of Malaria Vaccine for Children

Liberia is one of 12 African countries which started administering their first anti-malaria vaccine. The government had announced that 88,780 vaccine vials are already available, with more doses expected in July 2024.

WHO's Malaria Vaccine Implementation Program focuses on areas with high malaria prevalence, particularly among children.
