Former Liberian President Weah Slams Boakai in Letter to Ecowas

Former president George M. Weah has raised several issues in a communication to the West Africa regional bloc Ecowas, including the violence between his party, the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), and the police. Weah said the alleged attack on his party headquarters was part of a series of actions taken by the new administration of President Joseph Boakai to "suppress political freedoms, disregard the rule of law, and create unrest in the country".
