Tributes Pour In for South African Actor Presley Chweneyagae

South Africans are paying tribute to actor Presley Chweneyagae, who has died at the age of 40.

Chweneyagae rose to international fame in 2005 with his lead role in Tsotsi, an Oscar-winning film that spotlighted post-apartheid South Africa's social inequalities and poverty.

Tributes have poured in from his family, government, and entertainment industry figures, honouring him as a "true legend," "gifted storyteller," and a "trailblazer" whose work illuminated South Africa's stories on screen and stage.
