Ghana Plans Mass Burial For Hundreds of Unclaimed Bodies

The management of the Police Hospital, a major referral hospital in the country, has announced it will conduct a mass burial for 300 bodies, including those of former patients, abandoned corpses, and victims of accidents and crimes.

"This solemn task is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that the deceased are laid to rest with dignity in line with public health guidelines," the statement said, while also encouraging Ghanaians to carry a valid ID card at all times to be identified in emergencies.
