Scores Killed in Sudan After RSF Raids North Kordofan Communities

The death toll from an attack on villages in North Kordofan by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has risen to 58, according to local authorities.

The Sudan Doctors Network said the villages contained no military presence and described the attack as a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. Sudan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Umma Party - one of the largest political parties in the country - have condemned the assault, saying it is part of a broader pattern of violence, looting, and intimidation targeting local communities.

Meanwhile, the Sudan Founding Alliance and other stakeholders have condemned a drone strike on two civilian vehicles traveling in West Kordofan. The attack killed ten civilians, including women and children.
