Zimbabwe's Afro-fusion singer Ammara Brown sees it happening more and more: women falling in love with so-called 'sugar daddies'. These are men who lavish much younger women with money and excessive gifts in exchange for a sexual relationship.

In this episode of My Song, Ammara talks about her controversial song 'More Sugar Daddy' that tries to tackle the issue, but which some believe promotes the practice. However, Ammara believes that, although young women have their own agency, it's her mission to warn them against the dangers of these skewed relationships.

Every week, My Song showcases the personal stories behind the songs of Africa's most compelling musicians. You'll hear these musicians in their own words. No presenter, no interviewer - nothing to get in the way. Just African voices on African music.
