A KwaZulu-Natal ANC Youth League leader has been shot and killed. Sthembiso Mhlongo was shot at his home in Howick early this morning. He was the league's deputy secretary in the Moses Mabhida region. Region secretary, Thembinkosi Zondi says two men knocked on Mhlongo's door and when he tried to open for them, they started to shoot. Mhlongo was taken hospital where he later died. The killing comes after ANC activist Lungisani Mnguni was assassinated in Camperdown near Pietermaritzburg on Monday.
