The political turmoil in the North West province will remain in the spotlight today when the Inter-ministerial Task Team discusses its report on the state of governance in the province. The meeting follows confirmation at the weekend that the national government is to take over the administration of the North West province under Section 100 of the Constitution. Meanwhile, the ANC Alliance partners in the North West have called on the governing party's National Executive Committee to appoint an NEC Task Team to take over the election work from the current ANC provincial executive. The call by the SACP, COSATU and SANCO was made after a joint meeting in Klerksdorp Sunday.
