Africa's leading telecoms operators, broadcasters and internet service providers will meet in Johannesburg in May 2013. Chief Executives from South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, DRC, Nigeria and more will converge at the 16th annual SatCom Africa Conference and Exhibition to ensure the sustainable future of Africa's telecoms and media sector.

SatCom Africa is Africa's most important forum for the broadcast, satellite and telecommunications sector, where executives discuss investment and development, challenges and opportunities within the sector.

Now in its 16th consecutive year, no other event in the region continues to maintain an unequalled level of excellence by bringing together African operators, regulators, governments, financiers and investors, developers, end users and other leading decision-makers in the continent's telecommunications and media sector.

The objective of SatCom Africa is to:

  •  Address current and future challenges for all major stakeholders within the telecoms and media sector.
  •  Uncover opportunities and growth potential for Africa operators and end user's to ensure long term sustainability.
  •  Encourage investment in projects across Africa that will contribute to the development of accessible and affordable communications solutions.
  •  Stimulate relevant discussions and outcomes that will benefit the African telecoms and media industry not only in the short term but in the long term as well.

SatCom Africa will address current and future challenges for all major stakeholders within the African telecoms and media sector. The forum will bring Africa's communications development to the forefront. Also, satellite, submarine and terrestrial projects from across the continent will be debated and challenged to ensure growth and sustainability within underdeveloped African regions.

Take your pick of three senior level conferences that focus on the development of telecoms and media in Africa: The Broadcast Show Africa, Submarine Networks World Africa and SatCom Africa.

A collocated exhibition hall facilitates 60 free technical seminars that give an application perspective to stakeholders using technology in the field. Also, over 70 world class exhibitors will showcase the latest products and solutions.
