President Adesina to Participate in the 30th AU Summit in Addis Ababa

AU Headquarters, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — Summit to focus on winning the war against corruption

The President of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina, will join delegates at the 30th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union to explore strategies for winning the war against corruption.

The African Union is holding the 30th Ordinary Session under the theme "Winning the war against corruption".

As part of the Summit, President Akinwumi Adesina will participate in various sessions of the AU Summit, including a High-Level Heads of State Lunch on Financing Africa's Future: Unlocking Development Potentials through Education on Saturday, January 27 and the opening session of the Summit on Sunday.

He will round off his participation with the launch of the launch the African Leaders on Nutrition (ALN) initiative -an intervention championed by the Bank - on Monday, January 29.
