Kenya's Inflation Hits Record High of 7.1% as Food Prices Soar

Nairobi — Kenya's inflation accelerated to a new record of 7.1 percent in May as the cost of food and beverages continues to rise sharply partly affected by the war in Ukraine which has stoked energy and food prices.
