Kenya: KBL Awards Beer Consumers Sh100 Million in Ongoing Promotion

Nairobi Kenya — In celebration of 100 years of existence of Kenya Breweries Limited, twenty-four Kenyans triumphed over a total of 100,000 in weekly winnings in the ongoing consumer promotion dubbed Tekeleza Teke Teke.

KBL has disbursed a total of Sh2.4 million under its Sh100 million initiative seeking to support consumers of bottled beer in pursuit of their dreams in addition to 10.55 million worth of airtime paid out to winners.

David Mukuna, a construction supplies dealer, who is among the winners, says he will use the cash won to expand his small business in Nakuru.

"The winnings will be invested in a cereal shop and use the business proceeds to fend for her family," Marion Njambi, a housewife in Umoja who lost her job during the Covid -19 pandemic, said.

Samuel Kimani, Job Ibencha, and Peter Gitau, from Kiambu, Kisii, and Garissa respectively, are among the lucky winners who have won Ksh. 100,000 each. Other cash winners were Marion Njambi, Onesmus Mutinda, and Robert Njuki from Umoja, Machakos, and Limuru.

KBL continues to make 100 dreams in 100 days come true for consumers for the next three months as Tusker celebrates 100 years.
