Gambia: Urban Transportation to Be Boosted With 38 New Buses

The General Public is hereby informed that H.E Adama Barrow, the President of the Republic of The Gambia will preside over the launching of the Urban Transport Initiative and Commissioning of thirty-eight new buses on Tuesday 19th July, 2022 at the McCarthy Square, in Banjul by 11:00 am.

This initiative is in line with The Gambia's National Development Plan (NDP), which recognises the important role public transport services contribute towards the efficient functioning of the national economy.

Consequently, it is with great pleasure that the Ministry of Transport, Works and Infrastructure and the Gambia Transport Services Company invite the general public to grace the ceremony.
