In the colonial days and even after the aftermath of the nigeria independence, the federal civil service was a noble service where the Oath of Secrecy was kept intact, as per conduct of conduct for civil servants. In the present dispensation, we read and hear about classified government information such as the country security logistics on pages of newspapers and even in the internet. This is a clear pointer that Information Sharing System in Nigeria has not been formated to follow a pattern of intelligence common to that system worldwide. Besides, we find speculative journalism across the board with impunity. As a matter of urgency there, we urge stakeholders and those at the helm of affairs to forge a system that will retain the etiquette and the official decorum for the selective security services that form that system. Otherwise, the system will continue to experience mediocrity and be exposed to unwarranted policy statements often made by those who know better and provide leaks of closely-monitored operational logistics. ebenodaisy
