Report Suggests Boko Haram Backed by Ex Governor & Chad President
Intelligence reports obtained by Premium Times point to links between a former governor of Borno state, Ali Modu Sheriff, and the Boko Haram sect. The information further fuels suggestions that the ex-governor is a major financier of the terrorists and that he collaborated with President Idris Deby.
