To Achieve Development Goals, African Leaders Must Be 'Strategic'

Ethiopian Prime Minister Haile Mariam Desalegn has urged African states to be "strategic, ambitious, rigorous and disciplined" if they are to achieve sustainable development. He was speaking at the opening of the Conference of Ministers, a side event at the African Development Week taking place in Addis Ababa. This year's conference focuses on the transition from the Millennium Development Goals to the Sustainable Development Goals and Africa's 50-year development plan, Agenda 2063. #AfricanDevelopmentWeek #CoM2016
