Codeine Cough Syrup - Nigeria Raids Pharmaceutical Firms
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has raided four pharmaceutical companies after they were exposed for selling codeine cough syrup on the black market. Following the revelations in a documentary, the government announced a ban on the production and import of the syrup.
