Nigeria's Scorecard on Education Not Ticking All the Boxes

On May 29, 2015, Muhammadu Buhari took the oath of office as the elected president of Nigeria. One of Buhari's goals was to ensure that 30 million Nigerians became literate within three years. Currently the illiteracy rate stands at just over 50%, according to UNESCO.
