"There is a market for selling humans." That unsettling fact was pushed into the front of the news cycle on Monday, when a man who claims to have kidnapped 276 teen girls in Nigeria announced in a video message that he would sell the young women into marriage or slavery. Claiming to be Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram, he said in the video: "I abducted your girls. I will sell them in the market, by Allah."
