South African Rand Weakens as Finance Minister is Issued With Summons

The National prosecuting Authority has laid a formal charge of fraud against Finance Minister, Pravin Gordhan. At a media briefing in Pretoria this morning, NPA head, Shaun Abrahams said Gordhan will be prosecuted for fraud over alleged misconduct, when he was head of the South African Revenue Service.
