Namibia: KPMG Woes Spill Into Namibia

KMPG South Africa has been accused of misrepresenting audit reports of various firms, with particular focus on the Gupta family, close friends of former president Jacob Zuma who were implicated in the State of Capture report by former public protector Thuli Madonsela. Clean audits were also given to furniture giant Steinhoff which soon after, suffered a major loss on the stock market when their chief executive officer Markus Jooste resigned over accounting irregularities.
