It seems that Senate President Bukola Saraki, who crossed the floor from the ruling All Progressive Congress back to the Peoples Democratic Party, wants to retain his position in the Senate. The APC are saying that the position of senate president was "reserved for the best of the best, experienced and exemplary politicians", which they say Saraki is not.
